10/5/22 - The Airfix 1/72 Lancaster BIII is just a great kit. Hands down the engineering and fit has been on par with something that would have a price tag double what its going for. I added the Eduard set for the inside and am waiting for some Kit World decals - as I wanted to build an operational number and not the restored one. Still working on it but here are a few pictures to show what I am talking about

8/31/22 - I get busy working that it slips my mind to take progress pics.. This project I have some! I just picked up a Photon M3 and love it. Between the 2 printers I have, I am able to design and print lots of parts for a build that has missing parts/short shots... I also printed this 1/12 scale TIE Pilot. He is a solid piece, which I wont do again, but the quality is awesome!

4/18/22 - Been working on this Airfix Victor K2 for a few days. Put an Eduard cockpit set into it, and I love how it looks. Seen or not it was worth the effort in adding. Not sure how I feel about the color - the modulation is what I was looking for but I have seen so many different variations of the desert camo that I dont think I will ever be happy with what I chose for this. Still pleased with how its coming along- next up, clear and decals.

4/2/2022 - Trying out a paint marker instead of airbrush on the panel preshade. I used one of the POSCA paint markers to try this. I have used them in the past on other projects but never in this way.. figured why not. I already have a better F-35B in my stash, so I used taleri's X35 kit in 1/72 as the test dummy here. Not sure how it will come out, but the real airplane was fairly clean at first. On the other hand, the Hobby Boss 1/72 Rafale C was going ok, but for whatever reason, the Tamiya paint and clear had a bad reaction. While it looks bad, Im hoping that after clear coating and more weathering, it wont be so bad. Nice kit, but as I was building it, I became less and less interested in the airplane... oh well.
